Dr Roselle Herring is a Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. Her research interest involves using metabolic isotope technology to study glucose and lipid metabolism. She has published work on the hepato-selective insulin detemir and secured research funding to study the mechanistic effect of SGLT2 inhibitors.
Dr Herring also has a keen interest in healthcare education, having developed in partnership with Lilly UK the nationally available “Admission to Discharge’ healthcare professional education tool. She has delivered invited talks at national conferences including Diabetes UK Professional Conference and the Royal College of Physicians.
