Showcase award-winning good practice in diabetes care

QiC Diabetes Awards Case Studies 2016

Case studies of the innovative practice recognised and rewarded at this year's Quality in Care (QiC) Diabetes awards are now available for download.

They cover work from organisations such as Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, Sandwell & West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust, NHS Tayside, University Hospitals of Leicester and many more.

The third sector is also represented by the likes of Diabetes UK and Investing in Children.

Together the case studies cover work in areas such as the prevention and early diagnosis of diabetes, involving service users and their families or carers, and patient care pathways.

The case studies cover all the winners, highly commended, commended and finalists from QiC Diabetes 2016, the awards for which took place in October in Guildford, Surrey.

The programme recognises, rewards and shares innovative practice demonstrating quality in diabetes management, education and services for people with diabetes and/or their families, throughout the UK and Northern Ireland.

QiC Diabetes is partnered by Sanofi and supported by a number of leading patient and NHS groups.

A pdf booklet of all the QiC Diabetes 2016 case studies is available for download, as are individual case studies and a full list of results from this year's programme.
