QiC to showcase innovative practice at Diabetes UK Professional Conference

We invite delegates registered for the Diabetes UK Professional Conference 2018 to join us at the QiC Diabetes symposium on Thursday 15 March from 13:20 - 14:15 in Rooms 7 and 12

Quality in Care will showcase innovation in practice at Diabetes UK Professional Conference 2018 in London.

The one-hour symposium at ExCel London will be chaired by Sheila Smyth from the Suffolk GP Federation and will showcase new and sustainable ways of supporting better results for your patients and doing more with less.

First up will be a case study of North East Essex Diabetes – A Clinically Led Service presented by our Chair, Sheila Smyth.

She will be followed by Shantell Naidu and Dr Miranda Rosenthal from Camden Diabetes IPU who will present their case study, First Diabetes Integrated and Value-Based Commissioned Service in England.

Finally, Dr Jackie Elliott of Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will present Tackling the Toughest of Times, improving outcomes in the clinic for young people aged 16 to 20.

Proceedings will then be wrapped up with a Q&A session moderated by Sheila Smyth, who herself was recognised at QiC Diabetes 2017 as Outstanding Educator of the Year.
