Quality in Care will showcase innovation in practice at Diabetes UK Professional Conference 2019 in Liverpool
The one-hour symposium at ACC, Liverpool will be chaired by Professor Gerry Rayman and will showcase innovation in practice, supporting better results for your patients, doing more with less.
First up will be the case study: Evolvement and Expansion of the DICE programme presented by our Chair, Professor Rayman, Ipswich Hospital, East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
He will be followed by Emma Birbeck from the North East Essex Diabetes Service (NEEDS) who will present case study, Enhancing Specialist Knowledge for Pharmacists to Optimise Diabetes Medication Management by NEEDS (North East Essex Diabetes Service).
Finally, Dr Amar Puttana of Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust will present The DIADEM Project: Improving the Management of Diabetes and Dementia by Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust.
Proceedings will then be wrapped up with a Q&A session moderated by Professor Rayman who himself and his team were recognised at QiC Diabetes 2018 as winner of the Best Practice Dissemination and Sustainability Award.
