A Consultant Respiratory Physician specialising in the Pulmonary Circulation and Exercise Physiology. He runs a joint PE/Haematology Service at Hammersmith Hospital and has a particular clinical and research interest in the progression of pulmonary embolism to chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension. He publishes and lectures internationally on the field of pulmonary embolism. He chairs the British Thoracic Society Guideline Group on Ambulatory Management of Pulmonary Embolism.
