Sharron has 19 years’ experience working for the NHS, primarily within the hospital field as a specialist clinical pharmacist, in a variety of roles.  She also has nearly 7 years of expertise in a senior pharmacy management role which has supported the development of broad skills.

In her current role at HHFT she is a consultant anticoagulation pharmacist developing a Wessex wide project to improve anticoagulation in AF and develop anticoagulation practice at HHFT.  She co-chairs the UKCPA Haemostasis, anticoagulation and Thrombosis (HAT) committee.  She is VTE spokesperson for Royal Pharmaceutical Society & a member of the NHS VTE board.

Key achievements have been promoting the role of the pharmacist nationally, receiving an award for innovation from Lifeblood: the thrombosis charity and bravely stepping out to pharmacy management and back to a direct patient focussed role which she loves!
