As a Diabetes Specialist Nurse, Paula’s passion and enthusiasm for diabetes is infectious, attracting excellent nursing colleagues and helping to champion high standards of diabetes care across our trust. Her relentless commitment to improve the quality of inpatient diabetes care has seen her lead service development projects and her passion for education has seen her organise and co-deliver 20 Diabetes link nurse study days and symposia, always receiving positive feedback. She ensures that errors, harms and audit findings present learning opportunities to all staff, to help reduce risk.
