This exciting brand new awards programme recognises, rewards, and shares innovative practice demonstrating quality in Dermatology management, education and services for people with skin conditions and/or their families and carers

QiC Dermatology is supported by the British Dermatological Nursing Group, the British Skin Foundation, the Primary Care Dermatology Society and Psychodermatology UK

A Quality in Care award means an initiative has been recognised by the NHS, patient and industry as improving patient experience, standards of care and outcomes

Entries are invited from anyone working in the dermatology arena throughout the UK and Ireland. Whatever the area of patient care, if your initiative or programme relates to dermatology in any way, you should enter it. Judges are keen to review a wide spectrum of entries.

For all entry categoriesexcept Dermatology Digital and Technology Solutions for the Treatment of Skin Conditions during the COVID-19 Pandemic the initiatives must have been undertaken in the last 5 years (Jan 2016 – Dec 2020)

For the entry category Dermatology Digital and Technology Solutions for the Treatment of Skin Conditions during the COVID-19 Pandemic initiatives must have been undertaken between Jan 2020 and March 2021

It is essential that applicants explain how their initiative is different and innovative compared with others.

Results are essential, and only those included in the application will be considered - supporting materials are not part of the initial judging process.

The entry process is simple, so entering should not take up much time.
There is no entry fee.

Each entry will be reviewed by a multi-disciplinary panel of leading experts in dermatology care.

Shortlisted entries will be announced on www.qualityincare.org/dermatology after judging day.

Judging day will be held on 27 May 2021

Finalists will be notified by Thursday 10 June and invited to the awards ceremony will take place at Sanofi’s Reading headquarters on Thursday 9 September 2021, dependent upon Government advice on social distancing and allowable size of gatherings.
